Meravigliosa credenza italiana della metà del secolo, preziosa nella sua lavorazione. Questa credenza ha un aspetto molto lussuoso, dovuto all'uso di materiali non comuni e al suo design; in tipico stile italiano di Paolo Buffa, Vittorio Dassi e Osvaldo Borsani.
Particolare credenza lastronata in mogano tinto nero. E’ composta da due ante laterali e una doppia centrale. Provenienza Francia. Epoca 1950. Cm ( 180 x 48, H 82 ). Inches ( 71 x 19, H 32 ).

Midcentury Brass and Black Wood Italian Sideboard, 1950
Wonderful Italian sideboards of the midcentury, precious in its processing. This sideboards has a very luxurious appearance, due the use of not common materials and the design, in characteristic Italian style of Paolo Buffa, Vittorio Dassi and Osvaldo Borsani.
All polished in black shellac. The structure is in wood, the top is smooth and polished in black shellac as well as the four doors and the sides. There are four doors, two on each side, which can be opened by two brass keys. The sideboard is raised from the ground by four legs positioned laterally, with a shape that tapers both in the upper part, where it provides a final contour ball, and in the lower part where it provides a small brass glass as closure. The legs are still joined at the front by a band with a wavy shape, reminiscent of the Italian style of that period. Internally well finished and well-polished, it has a shelf for part. The sideboard has been restored respecting the canons of the period of construction of this. The expert craftsman of our interior workshop has been able to perfectly capture the type of restoration in the wooden part, maintaining the state but perfectly re-polishing the beech wood. For each piece, before the departure, a revision is redone, to make sure it arrives in excellent condition.
